We are offering this workshop for professionals who may be interested in finding out more about this form of harmful practice. The session will will cover:

• Social, cultural and traditional reasons for FGM
• What are the consequences of FGM?
• Who is most at risk?
• The UK law on FGM
• Voices of survivors on video
• The challenge of changing tradition in families
